Chief patrons

Zsolt Somlói and Katalin Spengler bought the first pieces of their collection in the beginning of the ’90s. Since then, they have gone on to create a comprehensive private collection of Hungarian, Eastern European and International contemporary art. In the 2010s, they became supporters of the Central Europe Acquisitions Committee of Centre Pompidou. Zsolt Somlói has been member of the Board of Directors of the Friends of Centre Pompidou for several years. Building on their international experiences, they have been among founders of The Circle of Patrons of the Contemporary Collection of the Museum of Fine Arts and the Hungarian National Gallery.
