The Ancora Contemporary Gallery opened in downtown Pécs in the spring of 2022. In addition to its bimonthly exhibitions featuring emerging, up-and-coming, and mid-career artists, the gallery also organizes various art projects and builds institutional partnerships.
As an active shaper of the cultural scene, the Ancora Gallery provides a platform for dialogue on the most pressing social and artistic issues. Various professional and interdisciplinary events and workshops provide contexts for the creative process.
