Képező Galéria

KÉPEZŐ Gallery opened as the first of its kind in the Margaret Quarter in 2021. The gallery's exhibitions are creating visibility for Hungarian contemporary art and is also serving educational purposes. The mission of the Gallery is to use art in education via exploring and applying different methods of art education.

Éva Bada and Beatrix Csiszár, the owners of KÉPEZŐ, are organising a charity auction with a selection of paintings and sculptures on display at KÉPEZŐ’s stand.  The aim is to support the educational activities of KÉPEZŐ, in particular to raise funds for non-profit art education programmes. These works of art all hide important ideas and messages about global and social issues beneath the surface of their appearance. Their acquisition is not only a great financial investment and a visual experience but represents an act of social responsibility by providing support for children's art education. The online auction will take place from 30 September to 15 October 2024 on the Axioart website.

KÉPEZŐ Gallery will also run educational activities at the BTC with guided tours for adults and interactive sessions for children, featuring works from the galleries exhibiting at the fair.
