Founded in 1998, Erika Deák Gallery is one of Hungary’s first commercial galleries. Since its opening, the gallery has been committed to presenting progressive Hungarian and international art across all media, and has organized more than one thousand exhibitions to date.  Alongside its regular program of represented artists, the gallery supports independent projects and annually invites and awards a young curator to develop a group exhibition. Central to the gallery’s mission is the continuation of art-historical dialogue, fostering exchange between different generations of artists through focused dual and group presentations.
